Multiple desktops aren't something that most Windows users never think of using. Shame really, as they can be very useful. If difficult to explain how more one desk can help (trust me, I've tried), and the only thing I can say is give it a try.

enable Virtual Desktop can have up to 1000x1000 desktops, but I doubt you'll be able use an more than 3x3. Each one is a miniature representation of a desktop. You can use these to move windows from one desktop to another.

As virtual desktop programs, this one is pretty powerful. Along with your 
miniature desktops, you have a semi-transparent display, hot-keys, themes and sticky windows.

If you want to use, or even just try, a virtual desktop program, I recommend this one.
