It is a Rubic's cube, that is "rolled out" and what makes life even worse is that some of the colors are missing-except they aren't really missing, as you move the cubes, the missing colors start to show up. I've read the directions several times, and I'm not sure if it's due to the fact that the color is backwards or it's a matter of the pattern of the cube, but I will tell you one thing. This puzzle makes Rubic's Cube look easy!
Download and this and give it a try, I couldn't explain the 10 pages of rules any better than the author, and probably would explain it worse. You can set the timer in the registered game for as long as you want, but in the shareware version it is only 5 minutes. You will be pulling your hair out long before you get the knack of this one!
