Xara Webstyle is a very basic graphics editor for those with little or no graphics designing experience. It provides templates for backgrounds, dividers, buttons, bullets, and headings as a place to begin, and then allows you to choose colors, shadows, and textures to personalize the templates. It is very simple to use, but limited in designing ability to the available templates.

The demo version is time limited to 15 days, and you can only export dividers and bullets; you can save other work in internal format for use if and when you decide to purchase the software.

All in all, as I have a good deal of web designing experience, if I were looking to learn web design, my personal opinion is that the money would be better placed in a graphics program less limited in functionality. Again, my own opinion is that Xara Webstyle is easy to use and install, but, at more than half the price of a program such as Jasc's Paint Shop Pro (tm), it is over-priced and under-equipped.
