about a week now, ever since I discovered it on a shareware site and have really been
enjoying it. I have made some screensavers and animations and have been quite pleased with
the results.
Animated Screen offers a variety of projects that will keep you busy and experimenting for
a long time to come. It allows you to use your imagination and creativity. You can design
your own screensavers, greetings and animations. You also have audio options at your
disposal. You can even record your own voice.
If you are new to all this and reluctant to venture out on your own just yet, you can use
the Animation Wizard and customize an already created animation to your liking. Or you
like me, can jump right in and start swimming!!
Your screensaver can be installed by saving it and filing it with your other screensavers
or if you intend to send it to someone else, you can send it in a file that can be opened
and automatically installed to their WIN/SYSTEM file.
If you would rather, your creation can be designed and sent as a "Greeting."
This is similar to the animated greeting cards you can find in online card shops. You can
make banners for banner exchanges, animations for your website.
The options are endless and I can assure you that you will not soon run of things to do.
I printed out the directions since there are so many features. Just reading them through
would not be enough to familiarize you with everything. Each unregistered screensaver you
create informs you and whoever you send it to that this was created with unregistered
software. You can register it and put YOUR name, email address, etc., in its place. When
the customer purchases the screensaver from you, you send him the registration information
and he can use it to remove all shareware reminders.
I doubt if I have even touched the surface yet with this program and plan to spend a lot
more time with it. I suspect that I will keep finding many new features. The help files
are thorough and complete.
I heartily recommend Animated Screen for your own personal use or if you perhaps want to
try your hand at marketing your creations. Be prepared to spend many hours at your
monitor. You have a fully functional program and it is up to you to register if you decide
to keep it. Email is suggested as the best way for support questions.
So grab some caffeine-you will need it-and start having some fun.
