Noodle is a program similar to Boggle, but with a very big difference.
With boggle you get a board showing all squares filled with letters, and you have to find
words using letters that are next to each other, with noodle the computer gives you a
starting word, you get to select a letter to add to what is there and make a word, then
the computer chooses a letter to add to make a word, each turn building on the one
previous. A combination of scrabble and boggle. Great concept. You can start at the
beginners level and work up The higher level the more letters you can have in your words.
Great learning game. Mind you I don't know where the computers comes up with some of the
words, the game could use a challenge feature.
The shareware version gives you five different starting words, in the full version it uses
all five letter words in the game dictionary plus any that are added by the user. This
adds up to hundreds of different games.
Top this off with some excellent sound effects, great graphics and you have a keeper. A
must for all word puzzle fans. Xdyne has a great promotion going at this time, buy any of
their games (they have some others which I have yet to try) and you can send a copy of the
game to others for $10.00 added to the base price of $19.95. Check out their site for
