PKWARE is the company who "got the ball rolling" so to speak. I remember when I
first encountered a .zip I used PKUNZIP to unzip it and likewise the first time I made a
.zip I used PKZIP to compress it. You can say they have years of experience since that was
in the 1980's. For years people used PKWARE programs for their compression needs until
WinZip came along and made things easier than the dos command lines needed for the PKWARE
programs. Well now PKWARE has made there own easy to use windows interface. Take advantage
of the free trial and if you are like me you will be saying hello to "an old
friend".
