PopOff! is a program that prevents those annoying extra browser windows from opening when you visit a site. I am sure you have noticed that some sites you visit have those annoying pop up windows which usually contain an ad that pops up. You then usually close the window and go back to what you were doing. Then when you go to another page at the same site here comes that window again. Very annoying isn't it. Well this program keeps those windows from opening. This isn't a permanent change though you can turn the program off and on but you don't have to leave it running.

All in all this is a great program, very easy to use and it is free too. It worked perfectly when I tested it and turning off popoff worked great too. There is also a version for Windows NT available at the site. If you want to remove ads or display them different, turn off the popup windows, and speed up your internet connection then check out this companies "AdsOff" program. AdsOff is shareware though with a purchase price of $14.95.
