whose game got me hooked on Mahjongg years ago. It is even better than the original with
SVGA and VGA support and digitised sounds. It still has a lot of tiles sets and layouts
and editors to create your own. It has excellent record keeping letting you keep track of
regular games, tournament games, and how well you play. Lots of options are available
including but not limited to board number, tile set, layout, peek, sound effects,
animation, prompts, disable timing, enable time limits, backgrounds, hints, undo, redo,
stats, and tourney mode.
This is a great game with an easy to use layout. My sister said "The sound effects
are unbelievable but fun." There are a number of backgrounds. Some faster machines
may have trouble running the program. If so the author recommends you get the program CPU
Killer to fix the problem. I didn't have any problems with the game and I am using a
Celeron 300A and Windows 98. The only problem I have had is sometimes when I go to exit
the game it locks up my computer. Registering will get you the latest version of the
program with additional tile sets, layouts, and more on disk.
