Firefight is a World War 2 combat simulation. You are allowed to control up to 10 squads of tanks, armored cars, anti-tank guns, or infantry carrying a variety of weapons. In addition you have long range artillery to lay down explosives, or smoke. You are given a mission objective, to take a village or some such thing and when you do it, and are able to hold it, you have won. You can also play either campaigns or scenarios, which is like a single game as opposed to a whole campaign.

You must play this game in 256 color, I don't normally have my computer set on that setting, and when I clicked on the game it told me that it was better to use 256 colors, and then went away! No choice.

The full version claims to allow you to play on 10,000,000 different scenarios from 1939 to 1945 [I didn't know there was that many scenarios in the REAL war, did you?!]
