To start with you just can't beat the price, now can you? Secondly, the
author makes no bones about the fact that he is 14, and I am very impressed with the fact
that a 14 year old wrote this program. Hey, I can't hardly run the necessary utilities to
keep my computer running and he is writing games that are fun, playable, and WICKED! For
one thing, he took the classic breakout game and adds some twists that show lots of
originality. For one thing the grid is different, there is only a few blocks to hit, but
don't gloat, that's just sympathy. For one thing, this game is really rather hard, which
gives even those pro breakout players something to keep them occupied. The ball comes out
like a bat out of some nether region, and it's not easy to catch it the first time. Also I
have never seen a ball that will sometimes bounce off the bottom and come back, you just
never know. You will go through your 3 lives without knowing it, cause that ball is really
shot out when it first comes out. The background picture is really neat, and drives me
nuts cause one corner is very dark. This means that when the ball hits the corner, you
must hit it by braille. All in all, this game will give even old jaded breakout players
something to do for quite a while.
Keep up the good work, Jonathan-if this is what you can do at this age, I can't wait to
see what you will come up with in the future!
