Download/HomepageThis program is for searching for the information you want on multiple
search engines, with multiple queries at the same time. It uses either plain english or
keywords. This version works with Yahoo, Hotbot,Aport, Lycos, Alta Vista, Yandex, and
Rambler.
One of the special features is that your search results are returned as two trees, search
tree, which contains links to documents, and servers tree which contains the addresses of
web-sites where the documents were found. The document and server links may be
synchronized by right mouse clicking. In the search tree, the program will compare the new
documents with the ones found and, if they match, puts them in one folder. It will also
check the correctness of links that were found and allows the user to renew information
since the last search. It also has the ability to store your parameters and results and
reuse them.
While I don't do very well with utilities, this program seemed pretty easy to use, and
unlike some searchers, it did allow me to type in a sentence instead of the strange way
that AOL search programs work!
The shareware version is limited to 5 references per search engine for each request.
