There, I've said it, now on with the review.
Whoever thought of the idea for Hangman 3D is a genius. It's Hangman in 'Quake-type'
surroundings. The 3D effect makes you feel you really are the one about to be hanged... or
sent to the firing squad or the guillotine. This game is more than just facing the
gallows. There are three ways of execution waiting for your incorrect guesses!!
The graphics on this game are first class, hence the five star rating. As I said before,
the game reminds me of Quake or Doom. You wander around a stone walled room as you see
other men escorted to their death. One arrow points to the gallows, another to the firing
squad and another to the guillotine (my favourite). You walk into one of the rooms and you
are presented with the famous Hangman dashes and letters. Click on the letters and if
right, they appear in place of the dashes. If incorrect, your way of execution is
constructed. The best bit is when you are actually executed - fairly gory, but can be
skipped.
Great game with many options. A little slow on my Pentium 100, though. A nasty thing with
this demo version is that every other word is DEMO TRIAL VERSION (sorry for giving that
away), but a good game with many options. This is one I'll seriously consider buying.
