On each round, the game puts you one move away from the check mate of your opponent (computer) and you have to figure out that one move. You have one try per round. There are 10 rounds to a level and 2 (difficulty) levels. There is a training mode in which you can practice or design your own "Last Move" situation. There is also a play mode in which the situations are generated randomly and a score is kept. This is a great game for teaching beginning chess players strategy or creating fun exercises for the more advanced.
