program automatically figures the Line (how many points a team is favored by), Power
Ratings, Vegas Projections, and who is the Favorite taking into consideration the previous
scores, home field advantage, and how well the team did over or under what they were
expected to do. It will keep track of your picks too. If you disagree with the computers
figures you can change them. You can enter the scores each week or you can download them
from the website after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.
This program is highly configurable which can take a little bit to figure it out or you
can just leave it like it is and do the updates each week in that case it is really easy
to use. The display shows the teams who are playing, the line, scores, home field
advantage, favorite power rating, underdog power rating, and Vegas Projections. The
favorite team is listed first and the home team name is in all capital letters. The Vegas
projection is figured by (home field advantage + underdog power rating) -(favorite power
rating + line). If you are keeping your own files instead of using the weekly updated file
you will need to enter any post season games.
This program has an excellent tutorial which will explain every thing in plain english so
you will be up and going in no time at all. Having never gotten into lines, power ratings,
projections, and so on I had no idea what they were until I went through the tutorial so I
learned quite a bit just going through that. This program is shareware so you can take
