I'm not sure if it's to save room or what, but the puzzles are 2 to a file, in other words there is one picture on one side, and another picture on the other side. You can adjust the amount of pieces the puzzle breaks down into, but once you start to solve, the puzzle takes up the entire screen. This means to work it you left click on the piece you want, and right click on the piece in the spot you want to put it and they switch. There is a sound when the piece is in the correct spot, and you can no longer select it. You can switch from one side of the puzzle to the other at any time, however when the one side is worked the other side will be also. You can also get hints and/or a thumbnail of what the completed puzzle should look like at any time. You can also save a partly worked puzzle.
