I have been using Ultimate Paint practically since it's debut. All the
previous versions have been free, up to the final release, Version 2. This program has PSP
beat many times over in functions and available options. The price is less than PSP which
is a plus in itself. But what you can do with UP is it's main drawing card.
I entered the UP graphics competition sometime ago and was one of the lucky ones to win a
free registered program on it's final release. But even if I had not won, I would have had
"the check in the mail" by now and purchased my own copy.
UP does everything other paint programs do PLUS it has many-over 100-special filters
included. It also supports Adobe Plug In's and Filter Factory filters. At last count, I
must have well over 500 to use with UP and best of all, these extra filters were FREE!!
This is a great feature for those who love to play with graphics like I do and see what
they can come up with. (Hey, my "The Fly" won me a free program!!)
Even if you are not into graphic design, UP's 32-bit Windows Paint Program offers all the
ordinary paint features as well as support for most formats and multiple undo/redo.The
program is Y2K compliant and is available for the asking in other languages than English.
The format is similar to the old Deluxe Paint Program. It does
everything PSP does for a fraction of the price.
As a long time UP user, I can highly recommend this program. It is well worth the money.
There is a 30 day free trial program that I am sure will convince you that UP is a great
buy for the money and a great alternative for other more expensive paint programs.
Give this one a try.
