Well the first surprise was the size of the download, about 130k. I thought it as bit odd. Then I opened the file and it said something about failed network connection.. I thought, well lets go back on the Internet and see what happens. I did and it led right away into a registration dialog. I filled in the blanks, and it went to work downloading the rest of it's parts. Pretty Tricky!

OK, lets get down to the nits and gritties. To me at least, this program uses a whole new concept of security. Lots of choices too. Here is what it does v-GO Universal Password lets you create a Universal Password, then use that Universal Password in any situation in which you currently use a password. You can use your Universal Password to open applications configured with v-GO, to protect and unprotect files, and to secure your PC.

v-GO provides graphical screens, called Password Windows, from which you create your Universal Password. Password Windows are based on all types of interests and experiences, including sports, cooking, games, finances, and travel.

So when you do that "network" connection thing and you connect to the Internet to get the rest of the program bits you are able to get the different password "windows". To try out two I picked the deck of cards and Hiding Valuables. With the Deck of Cards you can Pick your favorite hand of cards , and then that is your password you use to access programs you have set up. With the Hiding Valuables you can say hide the jewels under the bed, and that is your password. I liked that the best. You need to register the program by the way to change your universal password.

The Help file is very informative and the "Wizards" walk you through the configuring process nicely.

In conclusion. If you are at all interested in password protection you should really give this program a try. It really makes password protection fun..
