Axiom Art Show is not just a screen saver, it's like an art program. When the Screen Saver comes on, the picture is formed as you watch. It is not tossed forth complete, nor is it drawn, as I have seen another do. Rather this has color bands going back and forth, kinda like what you would see if you were watching your printer. I don't know if I explained it very well, but it is pretty. The pictures are done to a rough finish, and then a line runs from top to bottom, smoothing out the edges. While these pictures aren't done with the clarity if real good drawings, they are done with the softness of a different kind of art.

If you register the program, first you will get rid of the advertisement that stays at the side of the picture as it is forming. Also for registering, you will get Photo Mosaic, which is "one of your pictures, intelligently constructed from even more of your own pictures" and that looks like those pictures formed by dozens of other tiny pictures. You also get Van Gogh Dreaming, which is painting the pictures in pastel, and Random Transitions. When I got this picture to review, I was told it was $19.99, but in the advertisements I watched while I was watching the screen saver, it said $14.95. I guess that is buy today and get a deal.

The shareware version has 6 pictures, 4 of flowers, 1 of kids, and 1 abstract.
