The install on this is a breeze, basically a
no-brainer. Right away though it shows the amount of care the
author has taken, I really like it when you are not forced into
putting a program into the author/companies idea of the ideal
directory. In this program you even get to browse to the
directory you want it in.
Now if you have a need for an alarm clock or timer I would really
recommend this program. He has obviously taken a lot of time on
figuring out the best, and easiest way for people to accomplish
their alarming. As an example, at the push of a button you can
have a 5, 15, 30, or 60 minute alarm, and you can
"snooze" it. You can play .WAV, .MDI, .AVI, and other
files when the alarm goes off or use the standard PC speaker if
you don't have a sound card. You can even use your CD player.
It comes standard with a chirp and a kind of electronic clock
sounding alarm.
It will also go out and get the correct time for you.
It also comes with its own Uninstall program.
The download page is a SharewareJunkies dream come true. Hey,
this guy has download sites from everywhere, it looks like he
keeps them current too. So you pick the nearest site and while
the program is downloading you can ponder whether or not you want
to also take the other alarm sound files also. I took the
Grandfather clock file myself.
The only downside is that until you pay the $15, it will turn
itself off after 2 hours. But that's what Shareware is about,
eh', try before you buy..
